North Idahoans are blessed to have 5 ski mountains within about an hour and a half drive. For folks in Coeur d'Alene, Silver Mountain is the closest. It is about a 20-30 minute drive depending on conditions. Park your car across the street from the gondola base and then enjoy a leisurely 20 minute gondola ride to the top.
